Later years of a Speedy Hedgehog

A warm up that went too far, I had a crack (haw) at what one everyone's favourite Speedster would be like if he was an ageing Drug Baron, (or bad contracts with Nintendo left him worse for wear). Despite what nihilism might be present, I was actually quite happy when working on this one, applying brush strokes to the tune of catchy Salsa music.

I later inspired a client with this one to do some pop culture mashups of which I will detail later.

Sonic by Sega. Done in tombow markers and watercolours in one swoop (no step by step). Done traditionally although photoshop was used to recapture the "raise" the character has above the background
