Lust of the Dakini Concept Collection 2019

A further batch of Black and white designs which represent the current direction the story is taking. While I originally had a list of ideas \influences as long as your arm which isn't always a bad thing, I often felt that the more I directly tried to tribute the source material the more I put a limit on how much I go about creating new content. As such over the years the dependence on influences has slowly been abandoned as the story aims to find an identity of its own. In particular, Lust of the Dakini has abandoned its comedy routes in favour of a more serious plot-driven story. It'll still allow some cartoonyness and light humour, but the story it'll be dark enough to allow a more interest scenario than the ones before.

Art and characters by me. Done in Inks only (Copic Multiliners, Pentel pocket brush, Kuretake Semifude, Platinum Fude Brush Pen, and Edding 1800 propipens is what I use)

A showcase in obligatory supporting characters inked in 2018, again portraying Karti in his Monster (or Nartaraj) form. As of 2019 his design has changed, and like Taraka he's based more on Hindu Nagas (as opposed to a loose copy of Doom's cyberdemon).

Old man Ozric and the mercenary army (Tahiya's Dad depicted here). The idea with this concept was to demonstrate that while many characters have a flair for the cartoony, the species \ race of each are capable of looking bad-ass too.

Outfit variation for Tahiya, while the belly dancer theme is still apparent, I'm aiming a bit more for a clear athletic look too to reflect her role as the people's hero and daughter of great warrior. Doodles of her powers and weapons are on their way.
