The Battle of Bulru-Shonat vs Mahn-Gurudhum

Illustrations for a short story for the website (and hopefully for the expanded version in an upcoming printed novel).
Old foes of Ryuken, the Bakakumas come out of hiding, far stronger than before thanks to the catastrophic "rally around the flag" policy of his former employers, Nishin Genma. As he plummets henceforth to rescue the children kidnapped by his deadly enemy, Ryuken soon realises that the Bakakumas's rise to power owes credit to multiple interwoven histories, and at the heart of it all is the disappearance of mentor Hanale's old war buddies, Bulru Shonat, Reiyoko and Mahn.
